Avalon, a Sundeer
by Steve Dashew, was constructed with serious cruising in mind. The
interior is laid out to rapidly cross oceans in comfort and safety.
The spacious interior is flooded with
natural light that shines through the 3 translucent overhead hatches
thoughtfully included in the Avalon's design.
When in port, the
feeling is open, spacious and airy. Designed for a sailing couple,
spacious enough for a family or small group, the boat’s current owner
has sailed single-handed from the Panama Canal to Hawai'i and from
Hawai'i to California and back. His most recent adventure took him to
Fanning Island from Kauai, Hawaii and back again.
